A woman who has stood by Donald Trump’s side through every indefensible act has always managed to stick with and defend the president. She manages to turn night into day, black into white, and bad into good. Today, she pulled off another one of her magical tricks.
This was the woman who served as Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway. She appeared on Fox News, and there she insisted that the House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA):
‘[Should be] under oath every time he talks. What I think is going on with impeachment is a disgrace. Adam Schiff loves to be in front of the cameras, and yet the one place he’s not in front of the cameras is while he’s leading an impeachment inquiry.’
Conway continued her dismissal of the impeachment hearings saying again that she wanted Shiff “under oath every time he talks:”
‘That’s so curious to me. Why doesn’t he come out in the open, and I want Adam Schiff under oath every time he talks, because he does what liars and cheaters do, they lie and they cheat. He lies to the American people. He has no credibility.’
Conway also said that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was the one trying to “interfere” in the 2020 presidential election with her impeachment inquiry. Ironically, the counselor to the president’s husband, a highly regarded Washington, D.C. attorney, has been calling for Trump’s impeachment.
