Schiff Upstages Trump With Sunday Impeachment Tweet Trolling

Donald Trump is apparently quite interested in his place in history. He thinks his great wisdom and decisions will make people remember him with respect. Sadly, the president is seriously mistaken. Oh, he will make the history books alright, but for these reasons.

Trump opened the door for the Turks to take their second-largest military in NATO and bomb our great allies, the Kurds, as far into extinction as possible. These amazing Kurdish fighters both, women and men, were primarily responsible for halting the spread of ISIS. They lost over 11,000 of their soldiers in exchange for American protection.

House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA)  pointed at Trump pulling all 50 U.S. soldiers and all of America’s resistance to Turkey’s invasion. He said it was “an unmitigated disaster:”

‘President Trump’s capitulation to Erdogan over Syria is an unmitigated disaster and may lead to a resurgence of ISIS.

‘Trump’s impulsive decision to withdraw our forces and betray our Kurdish allies has done incalculable damage to our national security and standing in the world. ‘

Then, Schiff tweeted about the “White House meeting desperately sought by Ukraine.” The congressman called Trump’s actions “a terrible abuse of power:”

‘The text messages we’ve obtained show that the White House meeting desperately sought by Ukraine was conditioned on a “deliverable” – a sham investigation into a Trump 2020 rival.

‘That alone is a terrible abuse of power. We intend to find out how much deeper that abuse goes.’
