Giuliani’s Lucrative Deal With Indicted Russians Leaked

The president’s fixer Rudy Giuliani has fallen far from his heyday moments as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY). This is one of the most prestigious legal jobs in the country. Then, he rose to the occasion as mayor of New York when 9/11 occurred. He has started telling his story.

The same district (SDNY) has been investigating Giuliani. Last year he earned $500,000 from a company with the unfortunate name of Fraud Guarantee, which was started by Soviet-born Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman. The FBI arrested the naturalized citizens on charges of campaign finance violations.

The charged included, according to The Washington Post:

‘[I[llegally routing foreign money to U.S. political candidates and committees and using corporate accounts to hide the source of the funds. They have not yet entered a plea in the case.’

Giuliani spoke to the Washington Post about the Florida-based company, which was a legitimate U.S. business. He said:

‘I know exactly where the money came from. I knew it at the time. I will prove beyond any doubt it came from the United States of America.’

The former mayor said he worked for Fraud Guarantee in both 2018 and 2019. Giuliani was involved with both Parnas and his partner Fruman. They attempted to coerce the Ukrainian government to “find” dirt on former vice president Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.

The VP ‘s surviving son served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company while his father was serving with President Barack Obama. No guilt has emerged.

Giuliani said that another attorney introduced him to Parnas and Fruman. The president’s TV attorney said their company interested him. He said that it did background analysis on other companies. He had previously worked for another company. This one invented technology that was going to be implemented at Fraud Guarantee.

The president’s personal attorney would not name the other company, but did say:

‘They were building this business with two technologies, one of which I was very familiar with. I knew the investor of it. Some of our contracts are 2 or 3 million dollars. This was not an extraordinarily large contract.’

Giuliani claimed that his firm received payment in two installments. However, he said little about the $500,000 contract he had with the men.

Parnas started working with Giuliani in Ukraine last year. He was a conduit to a list of former and current Ukrainian officials. These people claimed to have information about the Bidens in the 2016 presidential election.

Both men emigrated from the former U.S.S.R. They donated $50,000, which opened the door to the Trump presidential campaign in 2016. Trump’s largest super PAC received $325,000 from another one of the men’s companies in 2018. These donations gained Parnas access to Donald Trump’s circle and the GOP.
