Bernie Sanders is still a crowd favorite, no matter how much Republicans and the DNC keep trying to hold him back. Now that the 2020 race is heating up, Bernie is in full swing, showing us exactly why we loved him in 2016. Bernie is not only the only candidate who hasn’t changed his stance on important social issues relatively recently, but he is beloved by many for his work in civil rights and the middle and lower classes.
Bernie just threw a rally in Queens, NY, and he had a turnout that is really getting under the president’s skin. Check out a picture of the crowd:

Many were inspired by Bernie’s words at today’s rally so much so that they took to Twitter to quote him:
.@BernieSanders said, "If you are willing to love. If you are willing to fight for a government of compassion, justice, and decency…if you and millions of others are prepared to do that…we will win this election and together, we will transform this country."#BerniesBack

At his rally in Queens, a powerful moment as @berniesanders asks everyone in the crowd to look around and find someone who is of a different race, gender or background and then asks: “Are you willing to fight as much for that person as for yourself?” #BerniesBack

At the beginning of the primary I was on the fence between Bernie and Warren. Now it's abundantly clear to me Bernie is the best choice on every issue that matters to me, Medicare for All, climate change, ending homelessness and a more peaceful foreign policy. #BernieIsBack

Ever AOC officially endorsed Bernie for president, a move that most government officials steer away from.
Today I am endorsing Senator @BernieSanders for president.
In the end, we must come together to defeat Donald Trump. We should do so knowing he is a symptom of a larger problem – and our greatest hope is a multiracial, working class movement in the United States of America. pic.twitter.com/9fiTS7FTX9
