The House Just Released Impeachment Testimony Transcripts

The impeachment inquiry that’s been happening for some time now has the president ranting and raving on the internet like a lunatic with unlimited cell service. Instead of doing himself a favor and acting like a normally adjusted human, the president has instead chosen to make himself look ridiculously guilty by protesting every single thing reported about him, true or not.

Republicans have been moaning about the closed-door hearing Democrats have been holding for weeks, saying that the private nature of the meetings suggest an attempt at covering something up, but this is merely the procedures of impeachment. The GOP demanded the hearings be made public, thinking that Democrats would never even think of it, and Nancy Pelosi just called their bluff.

Check out what the chairs of the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight and Reform committees just released via joint statement:

“As we move towards this new public phase of the impeachment inquiry, the American public will begin to see for themselves the evidence that the committees have collected. With each new interview, we learn more about the President’s attempt to manipulate the levers of power to his personal political benefit.”

This is where Republicans get a little hot under the collar:

“The transcripts of interviews with Ambassadors Yovanovitch and McKinley demonstrate clearly how President Trump approved the removal of a highly respected and effective diplomat based on public falsehoods and smears against Ambassador Yovanovitch’s character and her work in support of long-held U.S. foreign policy anticorruption goals.”

You can see why they’d be worried, right? Once the American public is able to hear what is being said in these testimonies, people are going to take to the streets until this president is impeached, thrown out of office, and imprisoned.
