Marie Yovanovitch made headlines all over the world when she testified her account of Trump’s dealing in Ukraine, and with her personally. The president was enraged by Yovanovitch’s claims, and even did a little witness intimidating on Twitter. Yovanovitch came out on top, however, even receiving a standing ovation as she concluded her testimony, and now, she’s received a standing-O once again, only this time, it was at a D.C. jazz club.

The author of this tweet replied to a Twitter user who said she was in awe of the former ambassador, saying:

So was I. And so was everyone in the club. I swear, if she had walked in with Beyonce, everyone would have screamed and run toward the Ambassador

Yovanovitch made waves in the hearing after moments like this with tainted Rep. Jim Jordan:

The impeachment proceedings that took place Friday in D.C. were nothing short of spectacular in every sense of the word. Republicans made their true motives known by trying to obstruct the proceedings the entire day, getting laughed at by the entire room, and rambling until finally their mics were cut off as they desperately tried to steer the narrative.

The hearing finally ended with a round of applause for former ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. Republicans, rude as ever, tried to impugn on Yovanovitch’s moment by rambling into their mic over the applause, trying to get one last word in.

As we reported earlier, Jim Jordan got a taste of his own medicine when Yovanovitch shot him down after a longwinded rant. Jordan said to Yovanovitch:

“ONE OF THE THINGS WE’VE HEARD SO MUCH OVER THE LAST SIX WEEKS IN DEPOSITIONS, AND FRANKLY IN THE HEARING ON WEDNESDAY, IS HOW IMPORTANT BIPARTISAN SUPPORT IS FOR UKRAINE. DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS AGREE THEY WANT TO HELP UKRAINE, IN FACT, [AMBASSADOR BILL TAYLOR] SAID, ‘UKRAINE’S MOST STRATEGIC ASSET IS THIS BIPARTISAN SUPPORT…’”

Yovanovitch calmly replied:

“I’M SORRY — IS THERE A QUESTION IN THERE?”

The president had been attacking Yovanovitch all day on Twitter, and even defended his attacks, which some are calling witness intimidation, Friday afternoon when he said:

‘I’LL TALK ABOUT TRANSPARENCY… I’M THE MOST TRANSPARENT PRESIDENT IN HISTORY. AND I’LL TELL YOU ABOUT WHAT TAMPERING IS — TAMPERING IS WHEN A GUY LIKE SHIFTY SCHIFF DOESN’T LET US HAVE LAWYERS. TAMPERING IS WHEN SCHIFF DOESN’T LET US HAVE WITNESSES, DOESN’T LET US SPEAK. I’VE BEEN WATCHING TODAY; FOR THE FIRST TIME, I STARTED WATCHING, AND IT’S REALLY SAD WHEN YOU SEE PEOPLE NOT ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS. NOBODY’S EVER HAD SUCH HORRIBLE DUE PROCESS… I THINK IT’S CONSIDERED A JOKE ALL OVER WASHINGTON AND ALL OVER THE WORLD… THE AMERICAN PUBLIC UNDERSTANDS IT, AND THAT’S WHY THE POLL NUMBERS ARE SO GOOD… IT’S A POLITICAL PROCESS, NOT A LEGAL PROCESS, SO… I’M ALLOWED TO SPEAK UP… IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A DISGRACE LIKE WHAT’S GOING ON RIGHT NOW… I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK. I HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH JUST AS OTHER PEOPLE DO.’

People responding to the Twitter video above were pleased to see that the ousted ambassador is receiving the praise she deserves. Check out what they said in the comments:
