So many patriotic people keep this great machine called The United States of America functioning. They have reluctantly stepped into the light after Donald Trump’s unfit actions became too much. Their courage unites Americans creating a time of healing reminiscent of that period right after 9/11. One remarkable anonymous senior White House official makes the nation a heroic promise about POTUS.
It is not certain the author of the book A Warning was also the anonymous senior official who wrote an opinion piece in The New York Times last year. People do not yet know whether the man/woman still works within the White House or was one of those squeezed out into the cold.
In a post to Reddit, Anonymous responded to an AMA (Ask Me Anything), according to The Business Insider:
‘As far as anonymity is concerned, I will not keep my identity shrouded in secrecy forever. I am not afraid to use my own name to express concern about the current occupant of the Oval Office. Donald Trump has not heard the last of me. There is more to come.’
The author, who has been verified, also said there were other current and former White House officials who were considering speaking out against the Trump administration:
‘Other people who are currently serving, and who have left, are also considering adding their voices before votes are cast in 2020. We talk about this with some regularity. In the meantime, Trump must answer to the American people for his own conduct instead of redirecting their attention.’
Tantalizingly, Anonymous wrote that in the book there was a “secret resistance against the president.” The New York Times author wrote:
‘Many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinationsI would know. I am one of them.’
After that, Anonymous added:
‘I was wrong about the ‘quiet resistance’ inside the Trump administration. Unelected bureaucrats and cabinet appointees were never going to steer Donald Trump the right direction in the long run, or refine his malignant management style. He is who he is.’
In a September tweet, Trump dripped words of acid onto the author:
‘Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source. If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!’
One individual who reviewed A Warming, Speaking Truth to Power, wrote:
‘The warnings the author illustrates mirrors what I have observed over the last several years. Behaviors of not only the President, but of our nation’s leadership. My parent’s grew up during World War II and the rise of Nazism, during my youth in Florida, we practiced air raids during the Bay Of Pigs crisis. Lessons learned early, on what happens when any nation’s leaders abuse their power. In failing to study and learn from episodes like these in our nation’s history; we shoulder the blame for when it recurs, and the responsibility to address and resolve it. Abuse and misuse of power never has a happy ending, ever.’
Another book reviewer, Scared, wrote:
‘The identity of the “Anonymous” who wrote “A Warning”, will probably be identified before too long. Certainly, the person who wrote this book, an expose of his time in the Trump White House, is giving away the secrets Trump and his associates would like to keep hidden. Much of what he exposes is scary – Trump’s finger is where it definitely shouldn’t be…What he exposes – and, yes, it is “exposed” – is not particularly “balanced”…As for who the author is, I’d guess by the quality of the writing, that he may be a speechwriter in the White House, either for Trump or Pence. We’ll see…’
Scare continued:
‘If you don’t like Donald Trump – or are terribly scared of him – you’ll like this book. If you like Trump, nothing here will change your vote in November. The book is well-written, but if it wasn’t written by “anonymous”, it would probably be out there with the rest of the Trump-exposing books.’
