If former FBI Director James Comey had not publicly announced the FBI’s investigation into Secretary Hillary Clinton, she probably would have won. He did it twice, the last time days before the 2016 presidential election that she lost by such a small percentage. Comey did not mention the FBI’s investigation into the other candidate, Donald Trump. Clinton’s words are profound today.

Many people do not like her, but they dislike Trump far more. At least, people will admit that the former secretary of State knows her stuff. Whereas Trump has been a total buffoon and embarrassment on the world stage, Clinton has always been respected.

Wednesday, Secretary Clinton tweeted about the dire position POTUS has placed America into, and she could not be more serious. She wrote that “the occupant of the Oval Office” has been “waging war against” our Democracy. That is what our politicians must remember, whether Democrat, Republican, or independent:

‘We must defend our democracy, and the painful truth is that the occupant of the Oval Office is waging war against it. ‘

Twitter world went nuts. Check out how the responses varied between support for and hatred against Secretary Clinton (below):
