President Donald Trump is continuing to flip out over the impeachment case that House Democrats have brought against him. Now, while Dems have delayed transmitting their approved impeachment to the Senate for a trial, he (and his allies) have been freaking out and accusing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her team of some kind of conspiracy against justice. All they’re doing is demanding fair trial parameters. Nevertheless, in case we all had let imagination of a stable president creep into our minds too much, Trump publicly flipped out on Twitter this Sunday afternoon over the hold-up. He claimed that “Crazy Nancy” has launched some attack on his rights that simply does not, actually, exist.
He tweeted:

First of all — he’s lying about the poll numbers. Perhaps he’s trying to make himself feel better or something. In reality, polls show that Americans are about evenly split on impeachment, which is publicly supported by mountains of evidence clearly implicating the president in a plot to delay military aid to Ukraine while demanding that they investigate his opponents.
More pointedly — the claim from the president and others around him that Pelosi is trying to “dictate terms” of the impeachment trial after having “striped” (it’s stripped, Mr. Unpresidented) away due process does not reflect reality, at all. Congressional Democrats, including their Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), are calling for testimony from the same witnesses who Dems have been after for some time, all of whom have been blocked off by the White House. Democrats have not changed their publicly examinable positions, but the president has tried to run out the clock and now he and his allies are blaming Dems for the mess.
