Top Obama National Security Official Rebukes Trump Iran Attacks

The president hates it when people try to tell him that he’s wrong, or that he’s made a mistake, and he especially hates it when someone from the Obama Administration lets him know that he’s failed, and that’s exactly what happened Friday afternoon.

It all began when Trump assassinated an important military leader in Iran without the approval of Congress. Trump pulled off the stunt Thursday night at the Baghdad International Airport, and immediately, people around the world went berserk, and rightfully so.

Samantha Vinograd was one of Barack Obama’s top security officials, and she just got on national television to tell Trump that he mucked up big time.

Vinograd said that “all American citizens are now walking prime targets:”

“I had a former State Department official text me a few hours ago saying, ‘I would not want to be in a secretary of State’s motorcade in any country going forward.'”

“In other words, that U.S. officials need to be concerned that they could be targeted.”

“It’s not just service members. All American citizens are now walking prime targets for Iranian retaliation.”

Vinograd is now working as a national security analyst for CNN, where her knowledge and experience in national security is coming in pretty handy after Trump pulled off the shadiest military move in American history.

Vinograd continued:

“[The Quds Force] has demonstrated its willingness and intent to strike American citizens, to strike American diplomats who are afforded protections under international law. So in addition to the force protection measures needed for American service members, I am equally as focused on the American diplomatic corps, as well as all of the contractors that work for the U.S. government, and other American citizens not just in the Middle East but around the world.”

The Pentagon’s excuse for this was the following:

“At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization,” the Pentagon said in a statement. “The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and our interests wherever they are around the world.”
