The impeachment trial of President Donald J. Trump has been making waves in the media all week, and every day, there is something else that goes viral. Today it was GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn causing a stir when viewers noticed she was reading a book instead of paying attention to proceedings.
Regardless of the shenanigans from Republicans, Democrats have stood strong in their approach of giving as much damning evidence in opening and closing statements as possible since the other side is choosing to obstruct justice, including Chief Justice Roberts, who sits idly by and does nothing as the GOP turn the trial into a circus.
Adam Schiff has become an overnight hero since the trial began, and Friday’s closing statement show why. Schiff said:
“Whether you like the president, or dislike the president, is immaterial. It’s all about the Constitution and his misconduct,” Schiff said Friday on the Senate floor. “What matters is whether he is a danger to the country, because he will do it again. And none of us can have confidence, based on his record, that he will not do it again because he is telling us everyday that he will.”
In his closing remarks for the House Managers’ Opening Statements, Cong Adam Schiff cites the Philippines as one of the countries who have victims of EJK and look up to the Democratic lead of the US

As if that wasn’t enough to send Trump over the edge, Schiff continued:
“Does anybody really question whether the president is capable of what he is charged with? No one is really making the argument, ‘Donald Trump would never do such a thing. Because of course, we know that he would. And of course, we know that he did.”
People online are going nuts over the proceedings in general, but the reaction to Schiff’s Friday closing statements are heated. Check out what people have to say:
