Donald Trump does not trust business associates, Democrats, Republicans, his friends, and even some of his family at times. That is why he put his favorite daughter and her husband Jared Kushner into the offices next to him. Top adviser to the president Kushner dove into the sticky pit of impeachment guilt.

CBS correspondant Paula Reid saw Kushner heading toward a Fox News appearance and asked him about “using @whatsapp…with foreign leaders?” He did not take questions, thought, according The Newsweek magazine:

‘NEW: “Jared, are you still using @whatsapp to communicate with foreign leaders?” Jared Kushner makes rare visit to White House north lawn for @foxnews appearance, but did not take questions from assembled reporters. #SaudiArabia #MBS #WhatsApp pic.twitter.com/MwRDwb4frf’

Top adviser Kushner, who has no vote in the matter, voted against witnesses in the impeachment trial of his father-in-law. Yet, one wonders if he secretly lies awake at night dreaming of a President Ivanka. The son-in-law said on Fox News that witnesses should not be called for the reason that it would “take more time:”

‘I think it would be unfortunate because it’s just going to take more time. The American people don’t want Congress focusing on this hoax that they’ve been putting on.’

Yet, if the Democrats got witnesses, Trump wanted the Bidens and that unidentified protected whistleblower:

‘What you will find is what was the whistleblower doing, what were the Bidens up to. There’s a lot of dirty things that have been happening for a long time, and a witness phase will give the American people the opportunity to learn about that.’

During an MSNBC interview, Senator Joe Manchin III (D-WV) was one, if not the only one, of the Democrats who indicated that he thought the former vice president’s sole surviving son should testify. He said he believed Hunter Biden’s testimony was relevant:

‘You know, I think so. I really do. I don’t have a problem there because this is why we are where we are. Now I think that he can clear himself, what I know and what I’ve heard. But being afraid to put anybody that might have pertinent information is wrong no matter if you’re a Democrat or a Republican.’

The Democrats party line has been that Biden’s son knew nothing about Trump as it related to Ukraine. Apparently, the president has seen Biden as his top contender for the 2020 presidential election.

On Wednesday, Senator Edward Markey (D-MA) spoke to CNN:

‘Hunter Biden is not on trial. Joe Biden is not on trial. Donald Trump is on trial.’

At the beginning of his administration, Trump handed most of the government off to his son-in-law, according to The Business Insider: Middle East peace including the war with ISIS, government reform, the opioid crisis, criminal justice reform, liaison to Mexico, liaison to Chine, and liaison to the Muslim community. All in a day’s work.
