Trump only mentioned those he believed to be of any risk to him. The day of the important Iowa caucuses, he started off indicating that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) was going to swift-boat 2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders:
‘The DNC on Bernie Sanders, “Looks like they’re going to do it to him again, doesn’t it?” @SteveDoocy @foxandfriends’
In the strangely solitary tweet, Trump went after Sanders, but why did he tweet just once? Maybe, it was due to his gross mistake Sunday, saying the Super Bowl winners brought it home in an exciting game after 50 years roaming the desert of no-wins, according to The Sports Illustrated magazine:
‘Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on a great game, and a fantastic comeback, under immense pressure. You represented the Great State of Kansas and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well. Our Country is PROUD OF YOU!’
Someone must have whispered in the president’s ear, because Trump changed it to:
‘Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on a great game and a fantastic comeback under immense pressure. We are proud of you and the Great State of Missouri. You are true Champions!’
Former Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill Twitter bombed him:
“It’s Missouri you stone cold idiot.’
Former New York mayor and presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg wrote:
‘Congratulations to the @Chiefs on an incredible season and a hard-fought Super Bowl win. It’s a great day for the great state of Missouri.’
