Secret Money Funnel To Susan Collins Uncovered & Announced

The Donald Trump impeachment trial has more twists and turns than a mystery plot. Characters along the way pop up with a surprising piece of information, then duck back down. So, who is the author of this intriguing book?

One of those characters was Senator Nancy Pelosi. The Republican Senator Susan Collins from Maine was one of those characters who popped up. She gave a rare yes when it came time to vote on whether the trial-in-name-only would include witnesses and evidentiary documents. It was a safe vote.

Then, the reader discovered a mysterious Hawaiian company that allegedly sent “a six-figure contribution” to a senator on nearly the other side of the world. According to the watchdog group, a company Society of Young Women Scientist and Engineers, LLC sprang into existence around Thanksgiving, just months ago and donated the money the last day of 2019.

The group wrote, according to The Daily Beast:

‘The available facts do not suggest that SYWSE conducted any business or had sufficient income from assets, investment earnings, business revenues, or bona fide capital investments to cover the $150,000 contribution to 1820 PAC at the time the contribution was made, without an infusion of funds provided to them for that purpose.’

The organization continued:

‘The available facts do not suggest that SYWSE conducted any business or had sufficient income from assets, investment earnings, business revenues, or bona fide capital investments to cover the $150,000 contribution to 1820 PAC at the time the contribution was made, without an infusion of funds provided to them for that purpose.’

The company had no website, “little social media presence,” and just a Post Office Box in Honolulu. It was considered a “unit number in 1820’s FEC filings.” The lone officer was Jennifer Lam.

The Campaign Legal Center (CLC) filed a complaint with the FEC (Federal Election Commission) to investigate the issue. The 1880 PAC named itself the year Maine came into existence.

CLC’s director of federal and FEC reforms Brendan Fischer compared this scheme to another allegedly illegal contributor to Collins campaign, Global Energy Producers. That one was linked a separate Republican super PAC. This superPAC was tied to the pro-Trump organization America First Action and fell directly into the middle of Trump’s impeachment case. Two men ended up indicted in that case of flouting federal campaign finance laws

The main character is this drama has been the lawless president of these United States. Clever House Speaker Nancy Pelos used her childhood political home, raising five children, and her decades in the House as his top protagonist.

In this particular mystery, the wicked-appearing defense attorneys were skilled in the ability to take the facts and twist them into something that looked like cold gravy. The heroic prosecutor and valiant witnesses without whom there would have been no reckonning have been integral.

The just-the-facts-ma’am political media did the investigation, and apparently, this mystery has been writing itself. Stay tuned for the next installment.
