Donald Trump is in his element for his 36-hour whirlwind trip to India. Tens of thousands of Indians, civilians and performers, lined his motorcade route from Air Force One to his destination. Over 100,000 people came to hear Trump speak in the largest cricket stadium in the world. Then, what?
The Indian prime minister Narendra Modi played one of POTUS’ favorite Elton John music for the live spectacle. Performers wore costumes of peacocks and horses. The leaders of the two largest democracies in the world competed to see who could turn out the most people for Trump.

Modi responded with a tweet, which said:
‘During his speech at the #NamasteTrump programme, @POTUS @realDonaldTrump highlighted aspects of his vision for USA. He also spoke at length about India’s greatness as well as the greatness of our culture, ethos, people and more. I thank him for his kind words.’
With the magnitude of Trump’s power ablaze, it was easy to forget who this man really has been. He stood with his wife First Lady Melania Trump at the Taj Mahal. The ghost of his bankrupted Taj Mahal gambling casino hovering ever nearby.
One of Attorney General William Barr’s former employees saw “something sinister” in the AG moving the president toward Fascism. That sinister something only ignited the sinister something in Trump.
