Donald Trump gave a press conference after his whirlwind 36-hour trip to India. He was asked to comment on the Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein rape conviction, but what was POTUS going to say? Me, too?
The interesting fact about the front-runner/incumbent was that neither represented the traditional parties. Trump implemented his own party of Trumpism, which is further right than right-wingers He has supported a fascist government headed by a dictator — Trump. Since taking office, the president has been trying to crush democracy with his own wrecking ball resulting in a high degree of success. Plus, he has enrolled his core constituents into this fascism.
Not only that, he has been in the midst of a purge. Anyone who has not been loyal to the president’s whims gets canned. This has been quietly taking place in the Department of Justice but also in the State Department, among others.
Now, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has come in from the left with a kinder, gentler form of government. The Democratic establishment broke its own debate rules and brought in a billionaire to take down Sanders. Unfortunately for them, the former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg failed miserably on stage at the last debate.
Hopefully, people will realize that the establishment has begun to wither and die. Certainly, the Republican Senate killed every bill except for appointments of judges. Time for a change.
