Biden Tells Trump To ‘Be Quiet’ During Monday Coronavirus Declaration

One of Donald Trump’s worst flaws during his presidency is that he always has to be the center of attention. That is quite irksome when the two major problems facing these United States is a grim reaper coronavirus creeping across the country and a stock market diving so deeply it has been getting the bends.

Monday, presidential candidate for 2020 former Vice President Joe Biden said he wished that POTUS would “just be quiet.” Instead, he should let the health experts speak for themselves, but no, Trump had to control the action:

‘In an exclusive interview with @Lawrence, former Vice President @JoeBiden reacts to Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus and the market turmoil. Watch the full interview Monday at 10pm ET — The Last Word (@TheLastWord) March 9, 2020’

Biden will be appearing on MSNBC’s Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell Monday night:

‘I wish he would just be quiet, I really mean it. That’s an awful thing to say about a president, but be quiet, just let the experts speak and acknowledge whatever they suggest to him is what we should be doing.’

O’Donnell asked the former VP whether he thought the market was reacting to Trump’s history of lying. Biden said:

‘But it wouldn’t collapse, I don’t think. Now, who can say? But I think there’s no confidence in the president in anything he says or doe. He turns everything into what he thinks is a political benefit for himself, and he’s actually imploding in the process. But there’s a lot of innocent bystanders being badly hurt.’

Trump has truly believed that the media was trying to take him down and tweeted:

‘The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant. Surgeon General, “The risk is low to the average American.”‘

Later, Trump tweeted:

‘So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!’
