Donald Trump risked and lost his impeachment to dig up dirt on the man he believes will be his 2020 presidential opponent former Vice President (VP) Joe Biden. Now that the former VP appears to be taking the Democratic lead, POTUS has ramped up his attacks on Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. Yet, there is a certain irony at work here.
Apparently, the Trump family has no trouble attacking the VP’s son for taking a job with a Ukrainian energy company while his father was still in office. The younger Biden made a bundle of cash in spite of being poorly qualified to sit on the company’s board.
Yet, the Trump family has been raking in the cash for any number of nepotistic deals while the patriarch is in office. Now, Parscale Strategy has also been used to make “payments out of public view” to:
‘Lara Trump, the wife of Eric Trump, and Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Donald Trump, Jr.’
The New York Times reported that Donald Trump’s reelection campaign manager Brad Parscale is using his own company as a fundraising tool. He billed the campaign for $35 million:
‘Parscale Strategy has billed nearly $35 million to the Trump campaign, the R.N.C. and related entities since 2017.’
Pascale’s company is a conduit for unusual payments via Parscale Strategy. He funnels money to different family members and friends:
‘Their presence makes for an odd dynamic between a campaign manager and a candidate’s family. During a campaign appearance last summer in Orlando, Ms. Guilfoyle confronted Mr. Parscale: Why were her checks always late? Two people who witnessed the encounter said a contrite Mr. Parscale promised that the problem would be sorted out promptly by his wife, Candice Parscale, who handles the books on many of his ventures.’
