President Obama is literally a godsend right now because the American people need a little piece of normalcy right now. Obama frequent tweeting at this juncture in history is not only reassuring for people who are literally fearing for their lives under a president who is telling them to go back to work.
Obama’s leadership is greatly needed right now, and while he wasn’t a perfect president, which he will admit, he provided a stability that the country had greatly missed during George W. Bush’s presidency.
Obama’s recent tweet is a prime example of that. This is what he said:
During this crisis, our grocery store clerks, delivery drivers, transit and utility workers—along with so many others—have been selflessly getting up every day to make sure we have the things we need. And for that, we say thank you.https://t.co/Fq5qIRXt03
