Fauci Defies Trump Again On Nationwide Quarantine

There are still people in America who are not taking very seriously the fact that people are dying at an alarming rate. They are ignoring news reports, some even believing the virus is nothing more than a media rouse, inevitably endangering themselves and their loved ones.

These people are the reason the virus is thriving the way that it is.

President Trump is the main person responsible for this because of his ridiculous involvement in the media coverage of the outbreak. Why mainstream media continues to allow him to misinform the public is beyond most.

The actual expert working for the White House is now speaking out once again, and what he’s saying is a direct contradiction of what the president is saying. Fauci said this about a nationwide stay-at-home order:

“I don’t understand why that’s not happening.”

Fauci continued:

“You know, the tension between federally mandated versus states’ rights to do what they want is something I don’t want to get into,” he said. “But if you look at what’s going on in this country, I just don’t understand why we’re not doing that.”

The president, however, has his own kind of quarantine in mind. This is what he said on Wednesday:

“You have to look — you have to give a little flexibility. If you have a state in the Midwest, or if Alaska, for example, doesn’t have a problem, it’s awfully tough to say, ‘close it down.’ We have to have a little bit of flexibility.”

California’s Gavin Newsom called out the president for not doing more:

“Our message is this: ‘What are you waiting for? What more evidence do you need? If you think it’s not going to happen to you, there are many proof points all across this country; for that matter, around the rest of the world.'”
Countless other officials have agreed with Newsom that more has to be done because as long as people are going about life like it’s business as usual, the infection will spread and kill.
