The Coronavirus has claimed well over 10,000 American lives at this point, but President Donald Trump’s priorities remain focused on lashing out against his opponents. This Monday — the very day on which the U.S. death toll officially passed 10,000 amidst the Coronavirus outbreak — Trump launched an angry public meltdown against likely Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Trump suggested that Biden was inept and incompetent, although on the one hand, Trump’s list of public lies and general meltdowns is endless, and additionally — could there be a worse time for the president to decide that now was the time for the country to be subject to his public comparison of his intellect with a fellow presidential candidate? We don’t need a machismo contest!
‘Joe Biden wanted the date for the Democrat National Convention moved to a later time period. Now he wants a “Virtual” Convention, one where he doesn’t have to show up. Gee, I wonder why? Also, what ever happened to that phone call he told the Fake News he wanted to make to me?’

Trump’s incompetence has reached the point that he’s failing to acknowledge that the Democrats might hold a virtual convention because of the global pandemic that’s raging. To Trump, just about everything seems like a chance to just talk about how great he supposedly is and how terrible his opponents supposedly are.
It’s true that Biden suggested he’d be willing to work with Trump in the development of a Coronavirus response plan. It’s also true that on his own time, the president has a made a consistent public spectacle of himself all by himself — just the other day, at a White House press conference, he delivered the strangely whispered question of what people have got to lose from trying an anti-malaria drug that he’s hyped as a potential cure for the Coronavirus. The answer is their life! They could lose their life!
