The firing of Captain Brett Crozier from his post on the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt in Guam has rattled people all across the country. Patriot Crozier, worried about his crew, wrote a letter to those higher in command urging them to get the sailors off the ship after many of them fell ill.
Crozier’s letter soon went viral, taking over media coverage, and leading to a ridiculous response from Trump’s Navy Secretary, Thomas Modly. Modly thought it best to immediately punish the captain for speaking out, rather than just take care of the men under his command.
Modly then went back to the sailors serving under Crozier, and called him stupid and naive. Needless to say, that didn’t go over too well.
Modly’s lame attempt at steering the narrative against Crozier flopped hard as sailors screamed and shouted after the disrespectful rhetoric.
Now, a recording has his media waves of that speech and its epic fail. Listen to the angry sailors below.
Captain Crozier tested positive for coronavirus after being removed from the ship. According to The Daily Beast:
Capt. Brett Crozier of the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus after he wrote a letter outlining his concerns of COVID-19 spreading on the ship and the Navy’s failures to properly address the matter.

Trump weighed in on the firing that he’s pretending he had nothing to do with, saying:
“I thought it was terrible what he did, to write a letter. This isn’t a class on literature. This is a captain of a massive ship that’s nuclear-powered… the letter was all over the place. That’s not appropriate. I don’t think that’s appropriate.”
