In the midst of this coronavirus pandemic as people are at war with this invisible enemy, they are doing their duty by sheltering at home. Naturally, the country looks toward its leaders for direction. Normally, that would be the president of the United States, but Donald Trump is not only missing in action, but he has also been making matters far worse. So who has stepped into the vacuum he has left?
There are the states’ governors, especially New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. His logical, straight-forward press conferences every morning are like a balm to people’s wounded reality. Plus, there is the most powerful woman in America House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
She and grew up in a political family, the youngest of seven children with six older brothers and raised five children of her own. The lessons she learned taught her how to deal with this president. She tweeted:
