This week, the Coronavirus death toll in the U.S. has soared to past 35,500. Although far fewer individuals have been infected with the disease than were infected with the infamous H1N1 swine flu, the Coronavirus death toll in the U.S. is already twice as high. This week, as the grim numbers continued to climb, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) outshined Trump with a message asking observers to consider the human toll of the pandemic. His message came on the very same morning the a maniacally unhinged Trump opted to sound like he was trying to incite civil war via a slew of Twitter messages admonishing his own followers to “liberate” their states from supposedly oppressive Democratic leaders simply trying to protect public health amidst the pandemic.
By tweeting LIBERATE MICHIGAN, Trump knows what he's doing. He's encouraging his fans to gather, spread a virus, & possibly die: all to make life difficult for a governor he hates.
Somehow "petty" doesn't do it justice.

Schiff, meanwhile, shared:

As of early Friday afternoon, half a dozen states had more than 1,000 confirmed Coronavirus deaths each, with a few only very close behind that grim marker. Among those already past, three — New York, New Jersey, and Michigan — have already reported more than 2,000 Coronavirus deaths each. Yet, Trump’s focus seems to be on belittling his political opponents.

As the pandemic continues to rage, he’s even announced plans to suspend U.S. financial support for the World Health Organization over their supposed lax Coronavirus response, but these tens of thousands of Americans are dead after his own petulant, willfully ignorant weeks and months of inaction.
