Democratic 2020 presidential contender and former Vice President Joe Biden has stepped forward to run against Donald Trump. That has released President Barack Obama to remind people how a real leader should act. He has a way of calling people’s attention to their responsibilities. The government is a dynamic set of systems, and everyone, including young people, have the power to begin oiling them.
Obama tweeted that he understood how Americans have had to adapt to the coronavirus pandemic. This has been one of the reasons he is so popular — he identifies with us. Then, he walked the nation to the next step and urged them to prepare for far “harsher changes.” These will occur unless the public could get out ahead in the “efforts to protect our planet.”
Then on this 50th anniversary of Earth Day, 45 urged the public to “demand more of our leaders at every level.” The president and former First Lady Michelle Obama have been working with young people ever since he left office. Obama tweeted:
‘We’ve all had to adapt to cope with a pandemic. Climate change will force far harsher changes on our kids. All of us should follow the young people who’ve led the efforts to protect our planet for generations, and demand more of our leaders at every level.’
