Donald Trump does not care how many people die in the COVID-19 pandemic, apparently, as long as he wins the 2020 presidential election. He lied that “states safely” are open for business. The president called the nation’s intelligence community “scum” this week as he rides along on the Russian President Vladimir Putin’s new cold war train. Yet, the investigation concluded U.S. intelligence is “fundamentally sound and untainted.” He seems to believe voters are stupid.
The commander-in-chief threw out a very shiny object in case nothing else worked. Trump said that he authorized the Navy to shoot down “any and all Iranian gunboats” should they continue to harass American ships. Just what the U.S. needs, another war. Remember that POTUS warned people that President Barack Obama would start a war to win his second term.
Then, the sitting president tweeted about his “light at the end of the tunnel,” even though that light is a train:
‘“Economic impact of Covid-19 (sic).” @foxandfriends Very interesting analysis. Light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you!’
‘I will be signing my Executive Order prohibiting immigration into our Country (sic) today. In the meantime, even without this order, our Southern Border, aided substantially by the 170 miles of new Border Wall & 27,000 Mexican soldiers, is very tight – including for human trafficking!’
‘Happy Birthday to the great Cindy Adams of the New York Post. Cindy is 90, but looks 39 to me. She is going strong!’
‘States are safely coming back. Our Country is starting to OPEN FOR BUSINESS again. Special care is, and always will be, given to our beloved seniors (except me!). Their lives will be better than ever…WE LOVE YOU ALL!’
‘I have instructed the United States Navy to shoot down and destroy any and all Iranian gunboats if they harass our ships at sea.’
Twitter world went wild after Trump railed against “Covid-19 (sic).” Check out some of our favorites below:
