Trump’s Thin Skin Erupts On Twitter Monday Afternoon

The New York Times wrote an article about how Donald Trump spends his time. Basically, it said that the president rises early and starts watching TV. Then, when the time comes for him to do his press briefings, he is unprepared and rifting. The commander-in-chief tops off the day with another injection of cable news.

During the last major briefing, POTUS suggested the public get injections of disinfectants which would be extremely dangerous, possibly causing death. To make matters worse, he also suggested UV inserted into the human body would be a good idea. Wrong.

He did not take the media’s coverage of his suggestions well. Later Friday, he gave just a 20-minute briefing. Since then, there have been no more briefings at all.

By Monday, Trump had roared through the media over how they presented the White House dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. Aides and advisors had been urging him to stop giving the two-hour, running up to 83-minutes, press briefings.

Trump started out this week tweeting:

‘There has never been, in the history of our Country, a more vicious or hostile Lamestream Media than there is right now, even in the midst of a National Emergency, the Invisible Enemy!’

He continued on Monday morning, shouting:

On Sunday, he had continued stewing over the story and sent off a rash of tweets:

‘The people that know me and know the history of our Country say that I am the hardest working President in history. I don’t know about that, but I am a hard worker and have probably gotten more done in the first 3 1/2 years than any President in history. The Fake News hates it!’

Then, POTUS called the media “vicious” and “hostile:”

‘THERE HAS NEVER BEEN, IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY, A MORE VICIOUS OR HOSTILE LAMESTREAM MEDIA THAN THERE IS RIGHT NOW, EVEN IN THE MIDST OF A NATIONAL EMERGENCY, THE INVISIBLE ENEMY!.. FAKE NEWS, THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!’

Then, the president  called The Washington Post “one of the worst:”

‘They are one of the worst in the “news” business. Total slime balls!’

The White House did not disagree with any of the article’s points, just its overall message:

‘The people that know me and know the history of our Country say that I am  the hardest working President in history. I don’t know about that, but I am a hard worker and have probably gotten more done in the first 3 1/2 years than any President in history. The Fake News hates it!’

Trump said, according to The USA Today newspaper:

‘Chris Wallace is nastier to Republicans than even Deface the Nation or Sleepy Eyes. The people who are watching.’

Saturday he tweeted:

‘They get record ratings, & the American people get nothing but Fake News. Not worth the time & effort!’
