How is Donald Trump going to run his campaign for president? Any way he can, which means dirty, very dirty. One strange aspect of his campaign strategy is that not only does he consider former Vice President Joe Biden his enemy, he also considers the majority of the American people his enemy. Unfortunately for him, those people will be different from how they were before the pandemic crushed the nation’s shores.
When the coronavirus struck, people had no option but to change. Now, generally speaking, they know how to work from home. They are closer to their families. They are more attuned to climate change, because they can see the stars in the night’s skies.
On the other hand, Trump has been fighting the war in his rearview mirror. He has clung to “the greatest Hoax,” “Fake News,” forcing people to work in spite of the pandemic, and trying to return to an American society that no longer exists. Check out his flood of early morning tweets:
