Nancy Pelosi has a way with words that isn’t really comparable to anyone. She never loses her class and grace, even when she’s calling you morbidly obese in a veiled attempt at making you lash out. Pelosi knows how to trigger Trump and his supporters, and she’s so damn good at it that all they can do is make fun of Nancy’s elderly demeanor.
Monday, Pelosi went on CNN to talk to Anderson Cooper at which time she said someone as fat as Trump should definitely not be taking Hydroxychloroquine. She then corrected herself by classifying the president as ‘morbidly obese.’
The whole world laughed when she did it, but Pelosi faced a bit of backlash for body-shaming, and Trump unleashed his own rant.
Now, Pelosi is responding to that rant by basically calling the president a snowflake.
Pelosi said this Tuesday:
“I didn’t know that he would be so sensitive, he’s always talking about other people’s weight, their pounds, so — I don’t want to spend any more time on his distraction because as you see in the last couple of days, so much of the time has been spent on what he said rather than that, I think he should recognize his words weigh a ton.”
"We owe it to all who are fighting the fight on the front lines, to make sure that they have the PPE, the protections that they need, and we owe it to them to make sure that they can feel secure in their jobs" – @SpeakerPelosi w/ @NicolleDWallace pic.twitter.com/eBsihKJXtS

“He should be saying what your previous guest mentioned, things that will help people. Let’s not dwell on him, we have to dwell on is over 90,000 Americans have died, lost their lives to this villainous virus and a million and a half infected. We don’t really know the full total of it and that’s why HEROES Act says, ‘test, test, test and trace and treat,’ so that we can lower the amount of people who are dying.”
People responding to the tweet left a hefty bunch of remarks for Trump. No pun intended. Below are the top reactions to the tweet:
