Americans grew weary of all Donald Trump’s antics even before the coronavirus pandemic came rolling across the country and squeezed out even more energy from them. Then, the economy tanked. People can only handle so much, and maybe the Trump administration finally figured out what was happening. Maybe.
So often, the White House operates on a relatively positive track only to drag the president kicking and screaming to the podium. Watch and know that when he reads the prepared text like an eighth-grade boy reading a book report, POTUS is not onboard.
The administration has urged the president to start handing out fistfuls of money. Interesting, given that the government has tried to con the National Guard out of benefits by cutting short their deployment by one crucial day.

‘DC’s @WMATA system is getting over $876M, a big boost to stay open & operating! The federal funds will keep workers paid & buses & trains running on a limited schedule as they are needed for essential trips. Good news for those who rely on transit! Congrats to @MayorBowser & all!’
