Donald Trump makes little to no sense every time he opens his mouth or his Twitter app, so people really aren’t surprised anymore when he speaks. For the first couple years of Trump’s administration, people paid close attention to every word, wondering what he would say next, but as time went on, Trump’s outrageous statements became so frequent that people cared less and less.
What Trump said Tuesday, however, has people wondering what in the hell the president is talking about. Trump said this to senators at a Tuesday luncheon:
– talked about unmasking and the president said all three of his oldest children had been unmasked “on Inauguration Day.” – – And press secretary Kayleigh McEnany gave a polling presentation on the president’s numbers.

Trump did not clarify what he meant. Haberman continues:
The effort with the polling was to show how well the president is doing. But it seemed inside the room like an effort to buck up an increasingly anxious GOP conference that fears losing the majority.
