President Donald Trump continues to appear unhinged as the U.S. grapples with the crisis of the Coronavirus pandemic. Early this Monday morning, which was the morning of Memorial Day and a day on which the U.S. seemed likely to soon hit a total of 100,000 confirmed Coronavirus deaths, Trump rushed to Twitter with a bizarre tirade defending the fact that he went golfing on Saturday and Sunday. In this tirade, even after three years of Trump subjecting the nation to his literally hundreds of trips to his golf courses, he even suggested that those concerned about excessive presidential golfing should actually worry about Barack Obama.

He tweeted:
‘Some stories about the fact that in order to get outside and perhaps, even a little exercise, I played golf over the weekend. The Fake & Totally Corrupt News makes it sound like a mortal sin – I knew this would happen! What they don’t say is that it was my first golf in almost 3 months and, if I waited 3 years, they would do their usual “hit” pieces anyway. They are sick with hatred and dishonesty. They are truly deranged!’

The reason that Trump hadn’t been golfing in awhile is because courses were closed because of the pandemic. He doesn’t get points for that. It is staggering that the mere mention of the slightest opposition to the president’s behavior — in this place playing golf — sparks him rushing to social media to proclaim that his opponents are supposedly mentally incapacitated. He’s so self-obsessed that he appears to take even a simple question as an attack.
He continued:

The idea that Trump personally is responsible for the destruction of the ISIS caliphate is laughable at best. He actually rushed to abandon local anti-ISIS fighters when he didn’t feel like having troops in Syria anymore. Meanwhile, just to be clear: Trump complains about Obama golfing after an ISIS execution, so why is Trump golfing after the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans any better? Trump mockingly complains about Obama daring to ride in a plane — so why are Trump’s own 266 trips to his golf courses any better?
