A new national poll from Fox News has devastating results for President Donald Trump and the GOP. In the results, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden garnered a full 50 percent of the support, compared to a meager 38 percent for Trump. The numbers represent yet another dip in Trump’s support, who managed to garner 40 percent of the support in last month’s national level Fox News poll, and 42 percent in the national Fox poll the month before that, in April. Similarly, Biden’s fortunes have been improving in Fox polling — in April, he had 42 percent of the support, and in May, he jumped to 48 percent before his present spot of 50 percent, which is an almost insurmountable lead.

The numbers reflect broader trends in national polling of the presumptive match-up between Biden and Trump. According to RealClearPolitics, Biden currently leads in national polls by an average of 8.8 percent. (The average includes the new Fox polling.) Biden also consistently leads in polls in important swing states including Wisconsin, Florida, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, RealClearPolitics reports.

Trump has complained ad nauseum about coverage from Fox that is supposedly unfair. At one point, he claimed that Fox should “fire their fake pollster,” although the polls and their numbers are very real.

Separately, he’s added:

‘@FoxNews is no longer the same. We miss the great Roger Ailes. You have more anti-Trump people, by far, than ever before. Looking for a new outlet!’

Trump’s refusal to accept reality has reached such a fever pitch that his team has demanded that CNN retract and apologize for a recent poll that showed Biden with a substantial national lead. The numbers, however, were not remotely contrived, no matter the petty theatrics. In poll after poll, Trump is losing.
