To say that Donald Trump’s first political rally since COVID-19 shut down venues across the country went badly is an enormous understatement. Although the president tweeted that nearly a million people had requested tickets to his event online, in an arena that only held 19,000 people, it turns out that he was about 984,000 people short of his estimates.
Trump was said to be furious before the event, appearing late to the event because he spent time fuming at aides backstage. In photos following the pitifully attended event, Trump was shown arriving back at the White House and exiting Air Force One. His tie, for the first time since his presidency began, was untied and disheveled. His face was dejected and tired. It was a markedly different Trump than the one the public is used to seeing.
Then, Twitter users spotted something odd in those photos, something that is sure to embarrass Trump as much as that pathetic rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Trump’s orange makeup appeared to be melting down the collar of his white button-down shirt, and any person who’s even worn liquid foundation could identify the stain. Trump’s stage makeup was as sad as the sad clown who exited Air Force One.
Trump’s tough-guy countenance doesn’t benefit much from the photos. It’s like the emperor with no clothes, his stage persona is starting to crack and the real Trump, a sad and pitiful man who cannot handle rejection, is showing through.
Twitter got quite a laugh out of the post-rally photos. Read some of their comments below:
