President Donald Trump’s defenders have tried to depict presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as somehow unfit for office, but to suggest that Trump himself has a long history of disturbingly unhinged public meltdowns would be an understatement. Among many other examples, Trump consistently lashes out at reporters at press conferences, demanding that they by quiet, chastising them for even the most simple questions, and more — not to mention the word salad that so often marks whatever it is that he does say, or tries to say. In a video compilation collected by The Daily Show and re-shared by the anti-Trump Republican group The Lincoln Project, Fox News complaints about Biden’s supposed unfitness for office are pointedly compared to Trump’s own documented belligerence, revealing the hosts’ hypocrisy.
The footage includes a range of examples of the president’s nonsense, from his well-documented predatory behavior towards women to his also well-documented tendency to sound like a bumbling fool who has no idea what he’s talking about. Sometimes, Trump tries to hide his incompetence with bizarrely strung together collections of words, and he frequently devolves into making little to no sense.

Voters are clearly fed u[ with having to wade through the president’s nonsense. Although Fox sounds a self-righteous alarm about Biden on a consistent basis, Biden leads by substantial margins in polls on the national level and in many individual swing states around the country. According to RealClearPolitics, Biden leads by an average of 10 percent on the national level, and he also leads in many individual swing states, including Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Although it’s an outlier possibility, it’s still a possibility that Biden ends up winning over 400 electoral votes, one recent analysis from CNN explained.
