President Donald Trump continues to adamantly ignore his own failures in responding to the Coronavirus. This Saturday afternoon, he rushed to Twitter to complain about presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s response to the Coronavirus — and Biden, of course, is currently technically a private citizen. It’s under Trump’s watch as president that over 125,000 Americans have died due to the Coronavirus, but on Saturday, Trump mocked Biden for initially suggesting, in error, that some 120 million people had died due to the Coronavirus. Biden quickly corrected himself, and it’s not like the actual correct reality is good! Trump has presided over a failure of public health.
This is one of the laziest attempts to make a Biden gaffe.
He said, “Now we have over 120 million dead from Covid, I mean, 120,000 dead from Covid."
Video cuts off him immediately correcting himself. https://t.co/0aEzXUX37z

It’s ironic that Trump and his allies have consistently tried to depict Biden as somehow unfit for the presidency. Trump himself has marked his time in office with ridiculous “highlights” ranging from the time he said he’s “never understood wind” to the endless array of instances in which he’s petulantly lashed out at reporters for doing their jobs and asking simple questions. There are many more examples; Trump consistently speaks in a sort of word salad that he seems to use to try and hide his brazen incompetence surrounding the basic issues of his job.
Blaming Hannity for Trump inability to answer that question is a new level of deflection https://t.co/zacQdTGSZ4

The U.S. needs leadership amidst the Coronavirus pandemic right now, because just this past Friday, the country hit a new single-day high of newly reported cases. In some areas, like Arizona and Texas, local authorities have been grappling with issues like potential shortages of medical facilities — and what’s Trump doing? He’s tweeting insults against Biden on Twitter and going golfing. On Saturday, he went to his golf course in Virginia.
Over 40K people were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the United States yesterday
Over 120K people have already died and there is no national strategy to control its spread
Today, Trump is golfing https://t.co/M83AR0pGZO
