This week, Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested by the FBI and criminally charged in relation to her role in the child sex trafficking that was perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein. Eric Trump jumped on the news to try and score political points against the Clintons; on Thursday, he tweeted an image showing Maxwell at the wedding of Chelsea Clinton, captioning the image “Birds of a feather…” In the photograph, Maxwell is visible in the background while former President Bill Clinton walks Chelsea down the aisle. Eric deleted the tweet after Twitter users responded with some of the many photos showing his own father with Epstein and Maxwell.
Looks like @EricTrump deleted this one. I wonder why?

It’s true that Donald Trump was friends with Jeffrey Epstein for a considerable period of time. In 2002, Trump told New York Magazine:
‘I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.’
What did Trump know? At the time of his comments, the child sex trafficking that Epstein and Maxwell perpetrated had already been taking place. Photos have emerged showing Trump with Epstein in 1992, 1997, and in 2000, and according to Epstein’s brother, the eventual president “also hitched a ride from Florida to New York on Epstein’s private plane sometime around the new millennium,” according to a New York Magazine report from 2019.

Besides his connections to Epstein and Maxwell, Trump also has been accused by numerous women of sexual harassment and assault. The women’s stories are well-supported by Trump’s own behavior — besides his long history of demeaning, sexist rhetoric and derogatory treatment of women, Trump was also caught on tape in the early 2000s bragging about supposedly committing sexual assault.

I'm sure Donald Trump wouldn't mind Twitter users retweeting in the tens of thousands all the pictures of him with the woman who was arrested in New Hampshire today, of which massive photographic archive these are just four exemplars pic.twitter.com/gyVE59pRQJ
