The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump Republican super PAC, has created several new ads in an effort to smear the president as the 2020 election quickly approaches. The group’s goal is to push Trump’s corruption to the surface and see that he is defeated in November.
The super PAC issued a new ad on Wednesday slamming some of the president’s top GOP allies in the Senate. The ad accused them of “cowardice” and “betrayal.”
The ad states:
‘Every time they had a choice between America and Trump, they chose Trump. Every time they were called to the service of this nation and their sacred oath, they chose Trump.‘
The ad goes on to say:
‘Learn their names. Remember their actions. And never, ever trust them again.’
The ad then calls out several Senate Republicans who are up for reelection in November – McConnell, Graham, Tillis, Collins, Cornyn, Cotton, Daines, Ernst, Gardner, Inhofe, McSally, and Rounds.
Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project stated:
‘These are senators who have abandoned their consequences, left the American people behind, and fail to stand up for the Constitution and common decency.’
The Lincoln Project also posted an ad thanking Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman for his service to the country and for telling the truth during his impeachment testimony.
Thank you for your service and your patriotism, @AVindman.

Attorney David Pressman issued a statement on Wednesday explaining why Vindman was retiring after 21 years.
‘Through a campaign of bullying, intimidation, and retaliation, the President of the United States attempted to force LTC Vindman to choose: Between adhering to the law or pleasing a President. Between honoring his oath or protecting his career. Between protecting his promotion or the promotion of his fellow soldiers.’
