One thing that Donald Trump really has done more than any other president, although he swears that’s a long list, is inspire true vitriol and shame at his actions as president of the United States. From the Trump baby balloon to cartoons about his idiocy, often using actual Trump quotes that couldn’t be written any worse than they already sounded. Now, a whole new level of Trump taunting can be seen in Washington, D.C.’s metro area.
'A group of artists known as the Trump Statue Initiative is behind a series of anti-Trump statue installations, including one that depicts Trump holding up a Bible while BLM protesters are beaten'… https://t.co/J2ZiFcB6gq

Throughout the area, statues of Trump hiding in a bunker, posing with an upside-down Bible, ordering the military to tear gas protesters supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, and ordering a child back to school in the middle of a growing deadly pandemic have been erected. The Trump Statue Initiative is highlighting the many recent failures of the Trump administration just four months out from the November elections.
‘Trump Statue Initiative is a way for artists to share their point of view on our 45th president’s most notoriously self-serving, narcissistic, racist moments and memorialise his legacy in a way our President can truly relate: Realistic historical statues.’

The initiative’s goal is to allow artists to express their feelings about the current occupant of the White House, a man who is vain, narcissistic, incompetent, racist, misogynistic, and utterly incapable of telling the truth. Since Trump’s recent bid to please his racist fanbase has included the protection of statues (specifically ones of Confederate soldiers), these statues should be safe for public viewing.
‘We encourage you to join our movement and create special statues of your own, or perhaps vote for one of our pieces you see today to be a permanent installation here in historic Washington, D.C.
‘Most importantly, if you do nothing else, we urge you to register to vote on November 3. We would very much like this growing exhibit to end then.’
If you're in the DC Metro area today head on over to Freedom Plaza and check out the art installation, "The Trump Statue Initiative." Learn more at https://t.co/7A7jZwz6aS. #Vote2020 #trumpstatueinitiative pic.twitter.com/NrtOCeXBfH

The art project is unlikely to go over well with the thin-skinned Trump, who has ranted on social media during his presidency about Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Saturday Night Live, and every respected news outlet for their depictions and coverage of him. He also can’t possibly miss the statues, which are strategically placed downtown.
