Donald Trump just does not talk about the coronavirus pandemic. He attacks his niece for writing a family secrets book, assaults Joe Biden for doing far better than him in the polls, and even feels “saddened” by the death of iconic Civil Rights activist Representative John Lewis (D-GA). Why does POTUS skitter away from what most worries most Americans like a spider on a frozen pond? Everything he mentions is related to his 2020 November election. Sick and dying people do not look good on his campaign brochures. Nearly four million people have confirmed cases of the disease, and 142,000 have died. That is a huge number of Americans going to their graves without the comfort of their family and friends.
The man who would be king promised job growth, tax cuts, general economic growth, 25 million new manufacturing jobs, and a healthy middle class. He thought giving a tax cut to the wealthy would trickle down.
Instead, Trump did not keep any of those promises. He had four years to make good on them, but he failed. His disastrous mishandling of the coronavirus led the nation away from him. What he must have never known is that people are not dumb, they value the lives of their children over him, and they can see a recession looming.
All the president cares about is four more years on his throne, and then the time will expire on many of his crimes. He said:
‘MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Then, the president tweeted that he was “trying to help Portland” by arresting protesters:
‘We are trying to help Portland, not hurt it. Their leadership has, for months, lost control of the anarchists and agitators. They are missing in action. We must protect Federal property, AND OUR PEOPLE. These were not merely protesters, these are the real deal!’
