Nearly every day, the Lincoln Project comes out with a spot-on ad that punches Donald Trump onto its back. On July 23, 2020, the ad was more deadly. It hit Trump right between the eyes, just like the president’s hired thugs did in Portland, Oregon. They shot a kid blocks away from the protesters and the federal building with a nonlethal almost lethal bullet. The young man lays in the hospital still, recuperating from multiple plastic surgeries and nearly dying. This ad hits POTUS in the most vulnerable part of his body, his ego.
Entitled Failure, the ad is put together by a group of brilliant Republicans and former Republicans who understand the terrible threat that this president is to our very Democracy. The Lincoln Project hones in on how Trump responded to the coronavirus pandemic:
‘The Lincoln Project today released a new video, Failure, highlighting the last several months’ worth of President Trump’s often erratic and erroneous comments on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.’
Then, the ad used the commander-in-chief’s own words against himself:
‘As new daily cases continue to rise to double what they were in April, President Trump offered little guidance and support during his Tuesday briefing.’
Co-founder of the Lincoln Project Reed Galen said:
‘President Trump is incapable of handling the multiple crises we face. Because of his failures, America, a country with 5% of the world’s population, has 25% of the world’s new coronavirus cases. We need a president who is ready and able to lead America.’
At the press briefing Wednesday late afternoon, Trump said this about the ever-expanding coronavirus pandemic:
‘[T]hat’s the way it is.’
The Lincoln Project is based upon the real Republican Pary’s greatest defender President Abraham Lincoln. It is nothing like what the GOP has morphed into — the Trump Party.
The Project continued, citing some solid statistics the Langer Project detailed in the just-released Washington Post/ABC News Poll. The Lincoln Project‘s people wrote:
‘But Americans know this isn’t how it has to be. In fact, a new Washington Post/ABC News poll released over the weekend shows that voters would trust Joe Biden to handle the coronavirus crisis over Donald Trump by an astonishing 20-point margin.’
In another Lincoln Project ad, Trump’s Authoritarian Show of Force, co-founder Reed Galen said:
‘The videos of masked, anonymous government officers attacking American citizens who pose no threat is shocking to watch. Federal agents with no badge are kidnapping civilians into unmarked vans. How is this America? All Americans must be vigilant.’
This Lincoln Project ad was quoted about by Galen:
‘Dr. Fauci has served both Republican and Democratic administrations. He is a profoundly respected physician, whose work has improved the lives of millions of Americans. President Trump’s incompetence has cost 130,000 Americans their lives, sickened millions more and wrecked our economy.’
