When members of your own party are releasing the best attack ads against you in an election year, the game has certainly changed. The Lincoln Project, a group of Republican political strategists and former officials, released a new ad against Donald Trump on Saturday that lists all the things a voter has to ignore in order to vote for Trump, and it’s quite a long list.

On that list are the lies, the corruption, the ineptitude, the racism, the narcissism, the pandering to dictators, the sexism, the blatant disregard for the Constitution, and many, many more. But there are a few more that could be added in the ad were much longer.
For instance:
- extorting a foreign country
- retweeting video of supporters saying “the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat”
- downplaying a pandemic while 160,000 Americans die
- the petty insults against political opponents
- openly trying to start conflict between armed supporters and peaceful protesters
- insulting dead political opponents
- obstructing justice
- tweeting sexist remarks against a female member of Congress
- admitting to firing an FBI director because he’s investigating the president
- signing lawless executive orders
- golfing during a pandemic
- holding political rallies during a pandemic
- separating immigrant children from their parents
- protecting statues over human lives
- supporting rapists and sexual harassers
- pardoning friends who’ve committed felonies on the president’s behalf
- appointing unqualified donors to important government posts
- paying off a porn star with a campaign donation
- tax fraud
- bank fraud
- withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Accord
- ending a peace agreement with Iran
- insulting Gold Star families
This is just a small list of additions, but it could go on and on.
