On Saturday morning, President Donald Trump yet again spent some time belligerently venting on Twitter. Among other things, he posted the claim that during the recent Democratic National Convention (DNC), the Democrats “took… out” the reference to God in the pledge of allegiance. In reality, the phrase was included during all of the main proceedings. Trump’s claim is false — it’s not as if oh, well, maybe he’s onto something. No — Trump is lying, and he’s lying about something staggeringly trivial in the grand scheme of things, making a claim that’s easily refuted (the DNC wasn’t exactly a secret event — it was broadcast across the nation!), and all for what? To make a political point? The only real point Trump is making is that he’s a fraud.
He posted:
‘The Democrats took the word GOD out of the Pledge of Allegiance at the Democrat National Convention. At first I thought they made a mistake, but it wasn’t. It was done on purpose. Remember Evangelical Christians, and ALL, this is where they are coming from-it’s done. Vote Nov 3!’

That claim is, again, a lie. In his other early morning Twitter posts, he called on local authorities in Portland, Oregon, to ask for the National Guard to be brought in to confront demonstrators in the city. However, it seems as though it’s most likely that it would be state authorities, not Trump, who’d call in the National Guard in the first place. That’s what happened during recent rioting in Minnesota.
Another bad night of Rioting in Portland, Oregon. A small number of Federal troops there to protect courthouse and other Federal property only (great job!). Wanting to be asked by City & State to STOP THE RIOTS. Would bring in National Guard, end problem immediately. ASK!

Trump also continued his weird obsession with “Suburban Women,” a phrase that sounds like it’s lifted right out of a bygone day of even more societally entrenched American sexism. He’s been repeatedly touting the idea that he’ll keep low income housing out of the suburbs, and thus, “suburban women” should vote for him. This line of argument seems brazenly racist — it’s marginalized communities who are most often associated with low income housing. In other words, it sounds as if Trump’s remarks could be “translated” as a pledge to keep black Americans out of predominately white communities.
Why would Suburban Women vote for Biden and the Democrats when Democrat run cities are now rampant with crime (and they aren’t asking the Federal Government for help) which could easily spread to the suburbs, and they will reconstitute, on steroids, their low income suburbs plan!

Among other things, Trump also made a nonsense claim about mail-in voting in New Jersey, suggested there’s a “deep state” conspiracy to hold up Coronavirus therapeutics until after the election in order to make him look bad, and insisted that Democrats had insulted Milwaukee by not having a gathering in the city despite initial plans to host the DNC there. They avoided the city because of the danger of mass gatherings amidst the pandemic — not because of some conspiracy.
Biden and the Democrats have greatly disrespected the Great State of Wisconsin by not even paying a small visit to Milwaukee, the designated site of the DNC. The State & City worked very hard to make sure things would be good. Not nice. Vote Trump Wisconsin!

The deep state, or whoever, over at the FDA is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics. Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd. Must focus on speed, and saving lives! @SteveFDA

Many doctors and studies disagree with this! https://t.co/fpLVJZMvHS

In New Jersey they want you to certify that you asked for the Universal Mail-In Ballot that they sent you. But you never asked for it. Disaster in the wings!
