George W. Bush Staffers Humiliate Trump & GOP

This great ship the United States of America is under siege with Donald Trump crashing torpedoes of destruction at her one after another. He has wound up those with white nationalist tendencies and set them loose into emotional, peaceful protests to hunt our Black friends and neighbors. Trump allowed over 180,000 of our loved ones to die — the equivalent of 490 big 747 jets. Millions are out of work. There is a solution, but it comes from an unlikely corner.

As Republican group after group springs up dedicated to pounding Donald Trump out of office, it become more apparent that something is seriously wrong. As 43 Alumni for Joe Biden warned, “Our democracy is at stake.” So what do these Republicans propose?

Hundreds of ecognized heavyweights, such Bush’s former Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, and less recognized individuals have collected together. The organization recognized on this site “know a thing or two about serving grand ideals and exceptional people:”

‘Whether you worked in the earliest days of the 43rd Administration or sprinted to the finish in January 2009, you know a thing or two about serving the grand ideals and exceptional people of our country. Together we saw compassion in action, strength on display and the steady leadership of a true statesman who inspired us to meet some of America’s greatest challenges.’

They are encouraging bipartisanship, because only the Democratic candidate can take us into a far better future than the arid landscape of 45’s vicious mind:

‘Now, another task stands before us. This one asks many of us to set aside partisanship in service, once again, to a country we love. Earlier this summer, having seen far too many days filled with chaos emanating from the highest levels of government, we knew it was time to take a stand. Former colleagues and friends from both sides of the aisle joined together and began to put our experience to work. As our former boss said, “Leadership to me means duty, honor, country.”’

As such, they have endorsed Joe Biden for President and Kamala Harris for Vice President:

‘Political differences may remain among us, but we look forward to a time when civil, honest and robust policy discussions are the order of the day.

‘Our democracy is at stake. Please join us!’

The people served under George W. Bush, but now, they have turned to Biden-Harris to save this great experiment. Their one objective is simple, “elect Joe Biden president.”

“Saving the American democracy” has been an over-used expression, but its meaning is as deep and chilling as the first time it was said:

’43 Alumni who have expressed gratitude and a willingness to help has been overwhelming. We also knew that others would disagree and we believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions. They are free to support who they wish based on their own convictions and we remain thankful that we live in a country that values liberty and protects those freedoms.’

Why would these individuals jump the party line and stand behind Joe Biden?  They responded:

‘Why Joe? Americans are decent, hard-working people. We want our kids to attend good schools and our parents to live long independent lives. We want to be free to pursue our own version of safety and success. But if you look around at 2020, none of those goals are anywhere to be found. We are unable to earn a living due to massive unemployment. Schools cannot open safely in most communities, and our parents are dying from an uncontrolled virus. Where are our leaders?’

Trump has been bereft of experience and unwilling to learn:

‘Character matters in our leaders… Joe Biden is courageous and will tell the American people what we are facing, but will also have a plan to guide us through this difficult time. He is someone who has endured tragedy and can empathize with the pain of losing a loved one too soon.’

This is the stand 43 Alumni for Biden has staked out:

‘Ultimately, we are looking for a president to lead. We need someone who will quickly course correct and show us the path forward. We need Joe Biden to restore character, integrity and decency to the White House. These principles are the cornerstone needed to rebuild a dignified, secure, resilient country. In order to emerge strong and ready to tackle the challenges before us, we must act. We must step up, get out of our comfort zone, and vote for Joe Biden’
