The choice in 2020 is clear: on one hand, there’s the man who will have peaceful protesters gassed to walk across the lawn and hold a Bible upside down for a photo-op, or a lifelong Catholic who regularly attends mass. 350 faith leaders have made their choice, and it’s Joe Biden.

Leaders from a range of different faiths and denominations supported Biden out of a need for “moral leadership” and “hope for a better future. Although his lying, grifting, misogynist, and racist challenger, Donald Trump, warned his base that Biden would “hurt God,” ministers and leaders from across the spectrum signed on to endorse Biden, including many who had never offered an endorsement before now.
According to The Hill, Frederick A. Davie, the chair of the board for the coalition, said that:
‘This election presents a stark moral contrast between the common good values of the Biden-Harris agenda and the divisiveness of the current administration. I hope you will join us in putting principle over partnership as we support a better way forward.’
As it turns out, those who actually understand what Christianity is supposed to look like know that it doesn’t look like a man who deliberately stokes hatred and racism, a man who lies with every word, or a man who uses the name of God to justify his worst actions. They know it looks like kindness, humility, and understanding.
