Many observers have raised concerns about President Donald Trump’s physical state, as the examples of his strangely faltering behavior keep accumulating. In an era with a president that was actually honest with the American people, perhaps potential issues could actually be aired out in the open by the administration and dealt with — but with Trump in charge, who’s to say what he and his cronies are hiding? As the weekend got rolling, the anti-Trump conservative group known as The Lincoln Project posted a slew of messages putting the spotlight on Trump’s faltering physical state.
The organization used the hashtag “#TrumpIsNotWell” for their posts, which quickly seemed to take off, at least in certain corners of Twitter. One of the examples that The Lincoln Project spotlighted in a widely circulated video clip is an incident at a New Hampshire rally this week where Trump very visibly stumbled while walking up what seemed like just a few steps.
The organization poignantly pointed out:

The “official” explanation for the visit is that Trump visited the hospital as part of a routine check-up, but that’s rather vague. As Vox noted at the time, “the White House’s complete lack of credibility on issues from crowd size to foreign affairs makes it disconcertingly easy to disbelieve what officials say.” The visit, it’s worth noting, was not publicly revealed ahead of time, and footage emerged of Trump, White House physician Dr. Sean Conley, and other personnel seemingly briskly getting in the presidential motorcade to head off to the hospital.

Meanwhile, The Lincoln Project also posted a selection of clips where Trump recently seemed to behave bizarrely. One of the examples came from his New Hampshire rally, while another one came from a meeting with federal disaster management officials following the recent devastation from Hurricane Laura on the Gulf Coast. At the meeting, he gave various people his autograph and “joked” about them selling it on eBay. Another example came from a speech in the more distant past in which he spoke with a slur.
The organization posed the question:
