President Donald Trump freaked out on Twitter this Friday morning over what seem to be recently announced plans from Mike Bloomberg for a $100 million cash influx to support Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Florida. Bloomberg ran an unsuccessful campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, but he pledged his support to the eventual victor, Biden. Bloomberg’s money will fuel pro-Biden ads across Florida, where the eventual presidential election results could be very close — and Trump is freaking out.
He tweeted:

It’s rather crude for Trump to wield a seemingly baseless “Depression” allegation as a political weapon, especially considering how he has recently pretended to care about mental health concerns as an excuse for his advocacy against even some of the most basic steps to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. He has suggested that “lockdowns” have led to many deaths, insisting that “you could make the case it’s in even greater numbers” than those who have died from the virus itself. In reality, if Trump was seriously concerned about these sorts of issues, like isolation-related mental health concerns, then there are many options he could use as a solution. He could come together with Democrats to finalize a new Coronavirus relief package for Americans. He has not done so.
Mike Bloomberg is a billionaire — he doesn’t need a job. Trump is merely spouting off nonsense — including his self-aggrandizing, racist nickname for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), “Pocahontas.” Bloomberg’s money could actually help Biden secure a victory. FiveThirtyEight estimates that Florida is the second most likely state to deliver a decisive winning margin to the victorious presidential candidate, and they give Biden a 60 percent chance of winning the state. Trump also petulantly tweeted on Friday that “Pelosi wants to take 30 Billion Dollars away from our great Farmers.” It’s not immediately clear what precisely he’s talking about — he might be trying to refer to potential Democratic opposition to his bailout program for farmers, who he’s sent money after he wrecked their business operations via his disastrous trade war. In reality, Democrats support tens of billions of dollars in support for farmers — they included it in the HEROES Act, the Coronavirus relief package that the Democrat-led House passed months ago.

As if he lives in a totally alternate universe of his own deluded self’s making, Trump subsequently claimed that “Biden FAILED BADLY with the Swine Flu” but his own team has “done an incredible job with the much tougher China Virus!” Some 200,000 Americans are dead. That is not an incredible job with absolutely anything!
