Donald Trump just had another One-Flew-Over-The-Cuckoo’s-Nest (OFOTCN) moment. That means someone left the door open to the looney bin. Of course, it is somewhat difficult to tell the difference between one of his regular Dancing-On-The-Edge (DOTE) or just plain senile moments and these recent OFOTCN moments. So, this is how a person can tell.
An old-fashioned Dancing-On-The-Edge moment would have been “NATE SHOCKING WRONG SHOCKING! BIG CROWDS!!!.”
We have seen something so rare, this will make the journals. [In a quiet voice] Come along, let us explore how an insane president in the wild tweets.
After he went around the bend, full-out One-Flew-Over-The-Cuckoo’s-Nest, he started using complete sentences more often. The tweeter-in-chief used articles (a, an, the) which he has rarely done before. Plus, there have been several more warning signs.
Ironically, the more unstable he became, the better his grammar was. Now, why would that have happened? Take a look at these eight signs the former leader of the free world expressed, so we could measure his sanity on a one to eight scale
If Trump got all eight out of a possible eight in his Twitter attack on the pollster Nate Silver, that meant he had reached the funny farm and abandoned his car. Let us see what this tweet told us. He only got four out of eight, so that showed he was only half nutso.

What have we here? Ah, there was an article “A total…” so that was one of the One-Flew-Over-The-Cuckoo’s-Nest signs we were looking to see. Next, we discover a complete sentence. Oh, here is a new One-Flew-Over-The-Cuckoo’s-Nest one. He even explained what he was talking about “(immune).” Amazing. Clearly, his struggle with the coronavirus changed his entire degree of mental acuity. Trump even wanted to get into his car a feeble old man and explode out of it baring his chest to show a Superman tattoo — or something like that.
When he tweeted about getting a clean bill of health, the man who occasionally sat in the Oval Office did something he had never done before – extraordinary. He never explained anything before. Here he had no all caps either. Oh, wait…here comes a Dancing-On-The-Edge relic, multiple exclamation points “!!!”
That gave Trump only a four out of eight points on the One-Flew-Over-The-Cuckoo’s-Nest category. In other words, he was twice as crazy as he was in his Dancing-On-The-Edge moments.

In a less mentally unstable moment, POTUS would have written “AP FAKE NEWS!” After he left the building completely, he rarely used all capital letters. Get this. He hardly ever used capital letters appropriately, for example, “AP.” But now that he lost it, he wrote it correctly. That has never been seen before.
In this tweet, where POTUS went after the media, he came out with six out of eight possible nutty moments. That meant he was only 75 percent insane. Remarkable.

Okay, ready for another run around the wilderness? In this tweet deferring his own chaotic mind onto President Barack Obama, we looked for One-Flew-Over-The-Cuckoo’s-Nest moments. Yes. I believe we have seen something truly remarkable. We have a perfect eight. Yay.

How about this one? Oh, it looks as if he missed two as he tweeted about the Democrats trying to get even with him for “stacking the court.” Once again, he deferred responsbility from himself to the Democrats. We have definitely begun to see a pattern here. That gave him a six out of eight taking him well into One-Flew-Over-The-Cuckoo’s-Nest territory.
