Our country’s Republican senators are hours away from confirming Judge Amy Barrett. So why should that matter? The Supreme Court (SCOTUS) will hear Donald Trump’s lawyers’ case to dismantle Obamacare (Affordable Care Act/ACA) days after she would take office and vote it and Roe v. Wade down soon. In the middle of this coronavirus pandemic, Republicans are intent upon killing this not-perfect health care but one that includes pre-existing conditions.
President Barack Obama explained how that would hurt those that the for-profit insurance companies deem with pre-existing conditions. That would likely include those with coronavirus, pregnancies, diabetes, high blood pressure — you get the idea.
