They do not call him “Moscow” Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for nothing. You see, the Senate majority leader just happens to have an aluminum processing plant in his back Kentucky yard, and guess who put it there? That is right, Moscow, and not just anyone in the Russian center. One of President Vladimir Putin’s best oligarch-buddies financed it. Fortunately, The Lincoln Project knows where all Mitch’s bodies are buried.
These truly brilliant Republicans and former Republicans have come out with another blockbuster ad. They know exactly what ills Moscow Mitch has in store for America. The Kentucky senator married into a wealthy Chinese shipping company, and his new father-in-law gave him up to $25 million, according to The Forbes magazine. Money corrupts, but The Lincoln Project people have a plan.
McConnell likes to call himself the Grim Reaper of the Senate. Who does that? The senator says it, because he kills every bill the House sends him. This administration and this Senate leader have found every loophole, knothole, and spider hole in the government and exploited them. Moscow Mitch is the reason Americans sit in car after car in lines extending for miles, food lines — just like in the Great Depression. Children are going hungry in this great country. The Grim Reaper is the reason hundreds and thousands of families have been evicted from their homes and their apartments. Our children are homeless.
Mitch is the reason Donald Trump could freely let 14 million people catch this terrible, terrible coronavirus. He is the reason 275,610 of our loved ones are lying in their cold, dark graves. Why? Because, he could have put a brake on the wayward, criminal-ish leader. McConnell could have done his job, which is to rein in the president. He intentionally did not.
Georgia’s last two senate races are all that stands between a return to President-elect Joe Biden’s America — its promise of freedom, hope, and a middle-class — or another four years of Trump. Oh, this damaged and damaging raging man will be gone, but Trumpism is here to stay if McConnell is in power.
Americans worked together to take down Donald Trump, and we did it. Now, let us do everything we can to take down Mitch McConnell. We must — to save America.
